Jason Spangenberg, Owner
Lake Effect Municipal Services was founded in 2026 to provide accounting and administrative support for municipalities in Northwest Pennsylvania.
Jason Spangenberg, Owner, is no stranger to municipal work, having served as the Borough Manager (2021-2025) and Finance Director / Borough Secretary (2014-2025) for the Borough of Edinboro, Erie County, PA. His mission is to provide support for municipalities in a cost-effective manner, bringing savings to taxpayers while helping to improve the operations of the municipal office.
A graduate of Edinboro University, Jason holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Accounting. He also earned a Graduate Certificate in Public Budgeting and Financial Management from Penn State Harrisburg.
